HALLOWEEN 2008

Having fun at the annual Utah Scare Crow Fatival!!

UTAH STATE FAIR

Corn dogs, peanuts, cotton candy, carmel apples, slushies, churros, tamalas, deep fried peanut butter & jelly sandwiches even!! The dreaded (for Taya) farris wheel, stuffed animals, cows, birds (of all kinds), sheep, goat, rabbits, pigs, horse back rides, and a miltitude of varies gourds!!! Come on now what more can a family ask for? And YES we got to expirience it all baby YEA!

A Brand New Member of the Fam!

On July 22, Cecilia was born to Heather and and brother Mark. Now I have two neices on my side and my kids got a new cousin beautiful healthy cousin!

I KNOW JULY WAS THREE MONTHS AGO BUT...

better late than never! On July 4th we were lucky enough to get great tickets to the Stadium of Fire! Where we witnesses the BLUE MEN & Hannah Montanna perform live , not to mention the most awsome fire work show ever! (thanks Mari! seems you & Matt always come through!!)

1st Day of School 2008-09

Taya and Beau are both at a new school this year. Beau was excited cuz his best friend Cayden goes to this school! Taya was not as excited because all her friends go to a different school, but they both got through the first day, with smiles! Taya said she made a lot of new fun friends, so many that she could only remember 1/2 their names. So I was glad, and they both love their teachers!

My Team took 1st place in our Soccer Tournament!!!!!

Some of you may not know that I (Carie) am a "soccer mom" literally. I play on a womans league. In the winter we play indoor soccer, spring comes and we play outdoor. Anyway it is so much fun I Love it!! And last week we won first place in the tournament we entered, it was such a rush! We are a bunch of gals that practice hard, play hard, and have a blast doing it!

Creative with a Box

It has been a cold winter, so it's a challenge to keep the kids occupied inside, especially when they are off track for 3 weeks. So I got creative and made Beau & his buddy Cayden, Sponge Bob box outfits. It was quite a hit amd a hoot with two 6 year old Sponge Bobs running around the house. Thanks Mom for your toll paints! They came in pretty handy for this little project. And made two little boys quite happy for a few days!

Sunday morrning (oct. 21st) we woke up to snow on the ground. Taya & Beau were so excited, they built their 1st snow man of the year.

THE KIDS START SCHOOL

My kids go to "year round" school, So the new school year started in July. Taya is now 10 years old & in 4th grade! Beau is 5 years old & started kindergarden!

Bryants' Hunt In New Foundland, Canada

In the first part of October Bry hunted woodland caribou & eastern canadian moose. And although he has a variety of caribou & moose, he still needed these two speices for his Big Game Grand Slam. He had a sucessful hunt and harvested both animals!
